SYSTEM ENGINEER E/E SYSTEMS (m/f/d)

And a a systems engineer (m/f/d), you will bridge the gap between complex customer requirements and the actual hardware. In this role, you will actively shape state-of-the-art E/E aviation systems that ensure people worldwide reach their destinations safely.


Your Tasks

  1. You support the design and integration of electronic control units and electrical systems.
  2. This includes analyzing customer specifications, defining system and hardware requirements, and deriving system architectures – for example, in the form of control algorithms, signal flow diagrams, or power distribution concepts.
  3. You consistently ensure compliance with the required standards regarding functional safety and environmental influences.
  4. You define and coordinate digital communication interfaces.
  5. You also conduct risk and reliability analyses (e.g., FMEA).
  6. You plan and oversee EMC measurements, thermal validations, and hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) test bench trials.
  7. The technical monitoring and management of suppliers and manufacturers of electronic components are also part of your responsibilities.


Your Profile

  1. You hold a university degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
  2. You possess sound basic knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology, as well as a good understanding of electronic controls and power electronics.
  3. You have initial experience in system documentation, system validation, testing, or quality planning.
  4. You have a good understanding of technical specifications, standards, and regulations, and ideally, you are already familiar with aerospace standards such as DO-254 and DO-160.
  5. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is mandatory for this position.
