EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (m/f/d)

As an Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d), your scope of duties covers the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to maintenance.


Your Tasks

  1. Working closely with the systems engineering team, you analyze relevant requirements regarding the functionality, design, and verification of the system under development.
  2. Based on this, you create the necessary software architecture and handle the programming in compliance with applicable standards.
  3. In close collaboration with hardware and operating system development teams, you support integration into the relevant hardware module.
  4. To verify the software, you define test procedures, support testing activities, and document the results.
  5. You also develop application programs for testing purposes.
  6. In this role, you serve as a point of contact for your team and the customer regarding the software you have developed.
  7. Thorough documentation of your work ensures the reliability of your solution.


Your Profile

  1. You have successfully completed a degree in engineering or computer science (or a comparable qualification).
  2. You understand how embedded systems work and possess relevant experience in low-level programming using C/C++.
  3. You apply your solid knowledge of common industry standards (e.g., DO-178, ISO 26262, IEC 62304, etc.) in your work.
  4. You are well-versed in requirements analysis and software modeling.
  5. You have knowledge of networks, digital interfaces, and bus systems (e.g., CAN bus, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, etc.).
  6. Experience developing programs for test applications (e.g., using LabVIEW or Visual Studio) is a definite advantage.
  7. Your communication is consistently clear, structured, and proactive.
  8. Fluency in written and spoken German and English rounds out your profile.
